You may hear the cookie crumble, Yet taste the sound of success. At this point, never a grumble Nothing resembling the mess.
You might smell a dampened gaze, Yet see the aroma of a burnt crust. Eventually your elbows raise With the wind yawning off its gust.
Is all as it seems? Or does there need be more to sense, before the ear smells, the nose hears, the eyes taste, the tongue watches and bitterstill, the hand writes.
